The entire PaintChecker measuring system, including the measuring head, does not need to be maintained in a major way by the operator. The maintenance is limited to cleaning the outside of the measuring head and the components. The measuring head and the measuring chamber should be cleaned of coating dust if required, should this occur near to the measuring system.

Depending on the duration and intensity of their use, wearing parts, such as the laser in the measuring head and the hard disk of the evaluation unit, will wear out and must be replaced if required. In order to prevent down-time, these components can be replaced as a precaution by OptiSense after the average service life has been reached. For this we offer a maintenance contract.

In order to guarantee the measuring properties, a yearly maintenance contract is to be concluded. A maintenance contract is essential, in particular for installations where high reliability is expected at a high rate of utilisation, in order to prevent down-time or quality loss in good time.
